MAARAKOOL (With Our Hands)

The one language we all speak.

To experience art is to understand what it means to be human. To feel the world around you through elation, confusion, joy, bewilderment, or the absence of it all. There is no right way and no wrong way, just what is.

Art has been part of our DNA since day one. We continue to bring creative experiences that delight the senses and open the mind. Don’t think of this as your typical “Don’t touch” exhibition. We want people to get lost within our living gallery of eclectic and mesmerising works from local, national and international artists.

In 2022, we are proud to launch MAARAKOOL (With Our Hands) – a new creative space within 140 Perth that showcases Whadjuk Noongar storytelling through art. The artists hosted in MAARAKOOL as part Stories That Resonate are Kambarni and Marcia McGuire.
