Unsame x Blank Walls

140 Perth has once again partnered with Blank Walls to host a series of workshops for children and adults, featuring local artists at Maarakool.

Unsame x Blank Walls will see four artists and the attendees take over and transform their canvas: the same Blank Wall.

One blank wall within Maarakool will be painted using a paint-by-numbers workshop technique to create a unique mural. At the next workshop, the wall be turned back into a blank canvas. 

The same walls turning into Unsame art.

CALE HUMMERSTON – SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOP AGES 8+

Cale Hummerston’s ultra nostalgia celebrates a simpler time with graphic illustrations and quirky cartoons. An expert brush man, Cale combines his sign-writing ability with his graphic design background to create playful and captivating works.

PAPA GIUSEPPE – SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOP AGES 8+

Giuseppe Rugnetta hails from the South West of Western Australia where he works closely with the Bunbury Fringe Festival. A multi-disciplinary artist, Rugnetta specialises in using spray paint and leads the push for large-scale contemporary art in the region.
